S.T.E.M build a chair challenge

We are learning to problem solve as a team.We made a chair out of paper and tape,it had to be 10 cm long.

The thing that went well was that we used team work but the thing that was challenging was there was only 3 people in my group but someone was  sick so only 2 people today in my group.

Have you ever done S.T.E.M ?

The mirror

We have been learning about a narrative.this is what you will need in a narrative.
A title a problem and some characters. Introduce the characters and say what they look
like. I enjoyed finding a picture and using cool fonts.
I found punctuation hard because some times I don´t  know where to put them.
my next step is  using more punctuation, I will do this by

what did you like about this story?

The mirror

¨I did it!¨ I said, I finally opened the abandoned hospital ́s front door but Harper was afraid of ghosts and monsters.
I said ̈we ́re just a bunch of children going to an abandoned hospital like it's not
going to be scary, it's been closed for centuries.¨ Take one deep breath ̈come
on ̈, ̈FINE ̈ Claudia did the same.̈ ̈OMG!!!̈ Screamed Claudia and me why are
the lights turning off and on.Harper started crying .OMG the light is completely off .Harper is that you moving? NO, it's not me Claudia said.¨BOOM ̈ a  ghost pops up in front of us we try to run from it but it keeps on following
us.
..
It was our friend that we didn't even invite, carrying a fake ghost costume. They walk up to us and says ̈ITS A PRANK ́and we all start laughing!!!

build a bridge .S.T.E.M.

In room 4 and room 2 we do stem every Friday and today we did
build a bridge. We only had to use wide sticks and little sticks and
lots of rubber bands.

It was a little difficult because people were talking to us when we were

trying to work.I really liked doing .S.T.E.M   because we learn how to
use teamwork.

have you ever done .S.T.E.M?

Tuataras

In room 4 we are learning to write an explanation about animal
life cycles.you had to find an animal to do a life cycle and research
it.

you need for your explanation writing is subtitles factual information
your stages title date technical language and a introduction.

The thing that went well was that I found a lot of information
about tuataras.

My next step is maybe making my words smaller.

My question is have you ever done a life cycle about an animal ?

                       Tuatara

This is a life cycle of a tuatara.

           The egg
A female tuatara lays 10-19 eggs in
A deep burrow underground. The eggs stay underground
For 12 to 15 months before hatching. If it is cold it will be a female and if it was warm it would be a male.

           The hatchling
The hatchlings come out of there eggs and the hatchling
Are left to defend themselves The hatchlings also grows three eyes and they are about 12-15cm long.

           juvenile
Juvenile tuataras do not mate or have babies.
Juveniles avoid adult  tuataras by only coming out
During the night to hunt.juvenile tuataras grow scales over there third eye also they are around 45-60 cm long.

    The adult tuatara
Adult tuataras sleep during the day and hunt at night.
They eat beetles, crickets, spiders, frogs, lizards, eggs and bids. Tuataras are cannibals they eat members of tere spices.

I hope you learnt something new.Have you ever done a life cycle on a animal

The froglet stage

The tadpole develops back legs and tiny teeth. The mouth becomes a boarder and eyes become more prominent. After 10-12 weeks the tadpole develops the front legs too and becomes a froglet. The digestion system changes so it can eat bugs.

The frog stage
The froglet absorbs its tail and after 2 more weeks and it's considered an adult frog.Within a period of four years

This new frog starts breeding and its life cycle continues.
